I like to share everything I enjoy with you. You can think of interesting exhibitions, beautiful museums, inspiring podcasts, beautiful books or magazines, new discoveries and great workshops. Here I keep a blog with all these 'Cheerful Chattering'.
I would like to tell you about the Meermanno Museum in The Hague, also called House of the Book. It is one of my favorite museums.
Many museums and artists can be found in Amsterdam. One such artist is Kinetic artist Mark Bischof. He had an article in a big newspaper in 2015 and he has had an interview with an art program on Dutch television. That television program is where I know him from. It has been on my wish list for a while to visit his studio and last Saturday it was that day!!
What has he become cheerful? So many colors, splashes and spots! He fits me completely. Do you want to know who made this great website? Bytewings! All thanks to Bytewings!
Last week we went to Leeuwarden to visit the Fries Museum. I'm a fan of Escher, probably because of my father who used to have Escher books when I was little and the long poster of Metamorphose that I hung the gate in its full length. So good that Leeuwarden has chosen for an exhibition of Escher during their Cultural Capital Year!
